Contrary to what some might think, introverts aren’t misanthropes. In other words, we don’t hate people. Due to a biological difference between introverts and extroverts, introverts get more drained by socializing than extroverts do. In fact, too much socializing can easily result in an introvert hangover, which is when introverts feel physically unwell from overextending themselves socially.
