A lifelong introvert, my favorite way to recharge is with birdsong and dirt–working in my garden and trying to outsmart the hungry deer and bunnies. I write non-fiction about being an introvert, living with and recovering from invisible chronic illness, and accessibility in technology. A former professor, I hold a PhD in rhetoric and composition from Texas Christian University. And I live with my incredible husband and our fluffy, crossed eyed puppy-cat on three-quarters of an acre.
