The holiday season can be a stressful time for an introvert. There are presents to buy, people to see, and small talk is everywhere. Just for fun, what are some things you won’t hear an introvert say during the holidays?
“That Christmas music isn’t loud enough. Can we turn it up?”
“I haven’t gone to enough holiday parties this year.”
“Honey, can we host Christmas dinner here?”
“I don’t mind all these people at the mall while I’m doing my Christmas shopping.”
“I wish we had more office parties. One a year isn’t enough.”
“Hey, everybody! Watch me open this present!”
“Midnight on New Year’s Eve? Not even close. We’re gonna party ’til the sun comes up.”
“I got too many books for Christmas this year.”
“First to come, last to leave. That’s me at holiday parties.”
“My plans for New Year’s Eve? Dancing with my friends all night at a crowded club.”
“We can’t leave the Christmas party yet. I haven’t talked to everyone.”
Finally, “It’s nice that the holiday season gets me out of the house so I don’t have to stay home and do nothing.”
